How Many Nicknames Is Too Many?

I have a disturbing number of alternate names for my dog, Sandie. I always have done this with my dogs, but for Sandie, it seems as though she is a muse for inspiration. Some of my more choice names: Sandanista, Sandie Pants, Sanders, Sanderama, Sands, Sanda Panda and last but not least, Sanderrific. Besides being a walking rug, eating more dog food than I care to think about and pulling her blue buffalo dog food out of the sink, she’s a sweet, gentle pup. Now that 11 has hit on her odometer, she’s slowing down and sleeping more. But I can’t think of a better retirement home for her than my giant front window, where she gets to watch dog TV.

Doing All of the Work

I have so much to do today. It wouldn’t be so bad if my husband were carrying his weight around here, but he drops the ball on everything. If they charge too much for their services pet owners will tend to look around for another vet. Like anything else, veterinary prices should be on par with what the other vets in the vicinity are charging, if not a little lower.
