General Settings
   You can use this menu item to specify the main system settings of the program, in particular:
  - Load With Windows
  Defines how to launch the program once the Windows operating system is started: start the program automatically or manually.
  - Show Tray Icon On Start
  The icon will be either shown or hidden in the tray when the program is started.
  - Reminders Always On Top
  Defines how to display the ERem (Emoticon Reminder) and TRem (Text Reminder) popup windows, in particular whether they should be on top of other windows or displayed the same as other windows (meaning ERem and TRem can be invisible behind other windows)
  - Insert Leading Space Character
  Select this item to add a space before each emoticon

HotKey Settings
  Open the HotKey Settings window. You can assign hotkeys to emoticons and specify advanced program settings in this dialog box. See HotKey Settings for details.

Show Emoticon Reminder
  Open the additional ERem (Emoticon Reminder) popup window.
  Note1:
  If you have not purchases keyboard stickers with emoticon images, this dialog box will remind you hotkey combinations assigned to emoticons.

  The left column contains emoticons and the right column shows the hotkeys that insert these emoticons.
  Note2:
  You cannot edit hotkeys in this window. To change the settings, you should open the main window of the program. To do it, double-click the tray icon or click the HotKey Settings item in the tray menu of the program.

Show Text Reminder
  Open the additional TRem (Text Reminder) popup window.

  As you can see it in the i/helpture, the table consists of three columns:
  - ID - this column contains phrase identifiers.

  - Text - phrases you insert with the help of hotkeys.
  - HotKey - hotkey combinations that insert phrases.
  Note2:
  You cannot edit hotkeys in this window. To change the settings, you should open the main window of the program. To do it, double-click the tray icon or click the HotKey Settings item in the tray menu of the program.

Freeze HotKeys
  You can freeze inserting emoticon or phrases into the ICQ messaging window. That is, the program is running, but does not insert emoticons.

Hide Tray Icon
  A click on this menu item will hide the tray icon.
Note3:
  You can access the program only via the tray icon.

  - Help Contents…
  A click on this menu item will automatically open your browser and you will visit the webpage at our site devoted to the correct use of this product.
  - Home Page…
Go to the homepage.

Registration
  Open the Registration dialog box. Register the program and use it without any functional limitations.

About
  Open the About dialog box.
  Information about the version of the program, the Registered or Unregistered status of the program and the license owner is available here.

Exit
  Close the program.

 "1" Animated emoticons (cannot be edited).
 "2" Emoticon names (cannot be edited).
 "3" Symbolic emoticon representations (cannot be edited).
 "4" Hotkey combinations for inserting emoticons.

 "5" This column contains phrase identifiers.

 "6" Text of added phrases.
 To edit an existing phrase, double-click it or click the Edit button.
 "7" The hotkey combination for inserting the corresponding phrase.

 Specify the phrase identifier in the ID field, type the phrase text in the Text field.

 "9" Editing an existing phrase. The Edit Text Item dialog box.

 "10" To delete an existing phrase, select it and click the Delete button. Confirm it in the Confirmation dialog box.


 "11" To load previously saved settings, click the Load... button. It will open the Open dialog box. Find the settings file (by default, MyIcqHKSet.ini) on your hard disk and click the Open button. You will see changes in the HotKey Settings window right after that.

 "12" Click the Save... button to save the current settings.
 It will open the Save as dialog box. Select a folder and save the settings file to your hard disk. By default, the file is saved to the folder where program is installed (C:\Program Files\ICQ Emotion HotKey\).

 Since configuring hotkeys is quite a time-consuming process because you have to check if they are compatible with ICQ, we supply the program with already configured hotkeys. Make the necessary changes and save them to the settings file. It will save you from having to configure the program twice.

 "13" If you click the Copy All button, you will copy the contents of the window to the clipboard and after that you will be able to paste the window contents into any file (MS Word, MS Excel, Text file … ).
 "14" Printing the emoticon or text table. Use the Print dialog box to select the table format you need and click the Print... button to print it.


 "15" Open the Black-List dialog box.

 To add a forbidden key combination to the Black List, click the Add button. Press the necessary key combination on the keyboard in the new cell. To delete a cell, select it and click Delete.

 "16" Click OK to save the changes.
 "17" Click Cancel to close the dialog box without saving the changes.
 "18" To apply the entered information, click Apply.  The HotKey Settings window will remain open.

To assign a hotkey to an emoticon, click the necessary cell and press the hotkey combination on the keyboard.

Click «OK» to save it. Click «Cancel» to close the dialog box without saving the changes.

1. I clicked Hide Tray Icon and the icon disappeared. How to show it again?
 To show the icon again, you should:
 - click Start/Programs/ ICQ Emotion HotKey/Show ICQ Emotion HotKey Tray Icon.
or
 - go to the folder where the program is installed and run the file IcqEmHkShowTray.exe. The default path to the file is C:\Program Files\ICQ Emotion HotKey\IcqEmHkShowTray.exe.

2. What is Black List?
 The Black List is a list of keys that are not recommended to be used as hotkeys. For example, Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V, Ctr+A, etc.
 This list may vary depending on the version of ICQ, Windows, Internet Explorer. We have tried to make the Black List as complete as possible, but we recommend that you review it and configure it for your software. Probably, some hotkeys in this list can be used on your computer so you can remove them from the list.

3. I cannot see the icon in the tray. How to open the main window of the program?
 You can access the program only via the tray icon. See question # 1: How to show the icon?

4. Why should I save program settings?
