I Am Going To Try Homemade Dog Food Recipes

I have been thinking long and hard about possibly making my own dog food.  This has been a nagging issue with me ever since I purchased my new puppy.  I read a pamphlet in the vet’s office during our very first check up that really horrified me and made me think twice about feeding my puppy store bought food.  The information in the pamphlet detailed some very disgusting practices that some of the major suppliers were using to produce their pet foods.  Even to the extent of adding chemicals to the mix that are banned substances in humans.  From that day onwards, I started doing my own research which led me to sites with many homemade dog food recipes.  I talked it over with my vet and he was in total agreement for me to at least give them a try. I think my new puppy is worth it.
